FUDGE-5G is proud to announce that Hewlett Packard Enterprise is joining as a member of the external advisory board. Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the global edge-to-cloud platform as-a-service company, that helps organizations accelerate outcomes by unlocking value from all their data, no matter where it is located. HPE is built on decades of innovation to advance the way people live and work, and delivers unique, open and intelligent technology solutions.
HPE’s Communications Technology Group (CTG) has more than 20 years’ experience delivering telco specific infrastructure and technology solutions. By offering verified telco blueprints, HPE helps to mitigate risk as telco operators move to 5G, accelerate time to market, and decrease system integration costs of Telco transformations. In addition, CTG offers 5G and Mobile Core, Orchestration, Fulfillment and Revenue Intelligence, Assurance, Digital Identification, Digital Video Services, and Video On Demand software offerings – either as containers, virtual machines or as-a-service.
To support operators as they shift to virtualization at the edge, while rolling out 5G capabilities and enterprise private network LTE & 5G offerings, HPE recently launched the HPE ProLiant DL110 Gen10 Plus Telco Server. This Open RAN-optimized, carrier-grade, NEBS-compliant, short-depth secure server is designed specifically for edge computing and will be provided, along with technical advice, to realize the Concurrent Media Delivery MEC use case with NRK and the 5G Virtual Office use case with Oslo University Hospital.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is proud to join the FUDGE-5G project, and look forward to contribute with their expertise.
